Safety & takedown policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

xStars is an adults-only service. Safety reports involving suspected minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, coercion, trafficking or other serious harm are prioritised. This policy describes the expected reporting and review process; it does not replace emergency services or legal advice.

1. Non-negotiable safety rules

2. How to report content

Use the Report link on the relevant video or the site’s contact page. Include the content URL or ID, the reason for the report, and a concise factual explanation. For copyright or other rights claims, identify the protected work, the material at issue, your authority to act, and a reliable way to contact you. Do not attach, download, forward or repost suspected illegal sexual imagery. Provide text details only unless an approved secure process specifically requests other evidence.

3. Urgent categories and immediate restriction

Reports alleging a minor in sexual content, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual violence, trafficking, or an imminent threat receive priority. Where indicated, access should be restricted promptly while a trained reviewer assesses the report. Restriction is a protective interim measure and is not necessarily a final finding. Reviewers should preserve the minimum necessary metadata and audit trail, limit access to authorised personnel, and avoid copying or redistributing the material.

4. Review process

  1. Record the report, URL/content ID, timestamp, category, and urgency.
  2. Restrict the content or account where warranted, particularly for urgent safety allegations.
  3. Review the content and available consent, age-verification, rights and account records using restricted access.
  4. Decide whether to restore, label, limit, remove or permanently prohibit the content, or take action against the account.
  5. Record the decision and reasons. Notify the reporter and uploader where appropriate and safe, without exposing private information or compromising an investigation.
  6. Escalate to law enforcement, the relevant platform or other competent authority where legally required or appropriate for serious danger.

Response times depend on urgency, evidence and available information. We cannot promise a particular resolution time for every report.

5. Non-consensual intimate imagery

If intimate content was recorded or shared without a depicted person’s consent, report the exact URL and explain your relationship to the content and why it is non-consensual. We may restrict the material while checking the claim and take steps to prevent re-upload where technically feasible. Do not send copies of the imagery as proof. A person reporting content may use a trusted representative where appropriate; we may need to verify authority before disclosing account information.

6. Suspected minor sexual content

Any suspected sexual content involving a minor or a person who appears to be under 18 is prohibited and treated as urgent. Do not download, screenshot, share, forward or otherwise preserve the imagery yourself. Submit the URL or content identifier and factual information through the report/contact channel. We will restrict access as appropriate, limit internal handling, preserve only legally necessary records and assess reporting obligations. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate child-protection authority; xStars is not an emergency service.

7. Copyright and rights takedowns

A rights holder or authorised representative should provide: (a) identification of the copyrighted work or right; (b) the exact URL or content ID complained of; (c) a statement explaining the rights held and why the use is unauthorised; (d) name and contact details; and (e) a good-faith declaration that the information is accurate and the complainant is authorised to act. Do not submit false or misleading claims. We may request additional information, restrict access during review, remove infringing content where appropriate, and notify the uploader unless doing so is unsafe or prohibited by law.

8. Appeals and counter-notices

An uploader may appeal a moderation decision through the contact channel with the relevant content ID, decision date and a concise explanation. For copyright disputes, the uploader may provide evidence of ownership, licence or authorisation. We may keep content restricted while reviewing an appeal and may decline restoration where safety, privacy or legal risks remain. We do not disclose a reporter’s confidential details except as permitted or required by law.

9. Repeat violations and enforcement

Depending on severity, actions may include warnings, removal, temporary restrictions, loss of creator privileges, withholding or adjustment of disputed earnings where lawful, account suspension or termination, and referral to appropriate authorities. Serious prohibited content may result in immediate termination. Attempts to retaliate against reporters or evade restrictions may lead to further enforcement.

10. Evidence, privacy and records

Access to reports and verification records is limited to people who need them to investigate. We aim to preserve only necessary evidence and retain it for a period appropriate to safety, dispute and legal requirements. We may be unable to share investigation details where doing so would compromise a person’s safety, another person’s privacy or a lawful investigation.

11. Contact and emergency situations

Use the in-page Report link or the xStars contact page for safety and takedown requests. The operator must monitor this channel. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services directly. Reports to xStars do not replace contacting authorities and do not guarantee immediate intervention.
